Bhubaneswar, Apr 24: The STF of Odisha Crime Branch police have recovered one Leopard Skin and other incriminating materials from the possession twio wild life criminals during a raid on Sunday.
STF sources here on Monday said the raid was conducted on Sunday evening at Khajuripada in Kandhamal district.
The two wildlife criminals identified as Sujit Rajaswadip and Dhananjay Behera, both belonging to Kandhamal district were apprehended.
During search one Leopard Skin and other incriminating materials were recovered and the accused persons failed to produce any authority in support of possession of the Leopard Skin.
The two accused were arrested and case under section 379/411/120(B) IPC r/w. Sec.51 of Wild Life (Protection) Act,1972 is being registered.
They will be forwarded to the Court of SDJM, Phulbani and the skin will be sent to Director WII, Derhadun for biological examination, STF sources said.
