Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, students of Utkal University’s Vani Vihar campus in the capital city on Thursday spotted the body of a youth hanging from a tree.
The deceased has been identified as Kalia, an auto-rickshaw driver who was living with his family members on the campus.
According to reports, the matter came to the fore after the students of the Vani Vihar University spotted the hanging body of a youth and immediately informed the police about the same.
The police reached the spot, recovered the body and sent it to the Capital Hospital for post-mortem.
While the police are yet to ascertain whether it is a case of suicide or murder, cut marks on the deceased’s hand and body have raised suspicion.
