Odia Album Actress Ruchismita Guru Found Hanging In Balangir; suicide suspected

In yet another case of suicide in the state, a young album actress Ruchismita Guruwas found hanging in a house in Odisha’s Balangir town on Sunday.

According to reports,  Ruchismita, was a native of Talapalipada in Bolangir town, was staying at her maternal uncle’s house in Sudapada. She acted in a number of albums. She was also known as a singer who performed at several stage shows.

Shockingly, her body was found hanging with a saree from a ceiling fan inside a room of the house.

A team from Balangir Town police station went to the house and sent the body for post-mortem. The police have registered an unnatural death case and started investigation.

However, the police have launched a probe to find out whether it is a case of suicide or something else. The cops believe the post-mortem report would help them solve the case.
