PSL 2022: Cric Crazy; Fan Dons Many Jerseys, Caught Commentators Attention

Islamabad, Feb, 3: During the 8th match of PSL 2022 between the Multan Sultans and Islamabad United, a fan in the crowd was identified wearing different jerseys of the top cricketing nations, all of those at the same time.

PSL 2022 so far has been nothing short of entertainment despite the unavailability of some big players. The Pakistan fans have been one of the reasons behind the popularity as they continue to support and love the game in the country.

Recently, Michael Vaughan had immensely praised the Pakistan Super League for maintaining a high brand of cricket and rated it to be the second-best league in the world after the IPL.

A lot of performers in PSL have earned contracts in IPL and the the board has been making serious efforts to make sure the international fixtures are back on their soil as well.

In the middle of all the drama during the Wednesday’s game, a fan was seen wearing different jerseys, one over the other. The fan started with England jersey, and went to show off his Australia, New Zealand, West Indies, South Africa, India jerseys and finally finished with a Pakistan jersey.

Even the commentators were surprised by the fan’s move and they saw the funnier side of it while he was picked to be the ‘fan of the match’.

Meanwhile, the Multan Sultans continued their unbeaten run in PSL 2022 with yet another win against the Islamabad United and it was all fireworks from the batters in a high scoring thriller yesterday.

Tim David’s 71 off 29 balls and Riley Rossouw’s unbeaten 67 got the Multan Sultans to a commendable total of 217 on the board and the Islamabad United fell short by 20 runs in the end. Shadab Khan sizzled with a 42 ball 91, hitting nine sixes and almost pulled out an incredible victory for the Islamabad side. Multan Sultans remain at the top of the table with four wins in a row now.
