CM’s Devotional Appeal : Naveen seeks support of all for smooth conduct of Puri Ratha Yatra

Bhubaneswar, June 18 : Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday sought the cooperation of each and all for the smooth conduct of the Rathayatra on July 1 next.
Presiding over a special meeting through video conferencing convened to review the preparation for the Ratha Yatra of Lord Jaganath, the Chief Minister advised the officials to ensure that everyone returns with a good feeling.
Expressing his pleasure over the celebration of Ratha Yatra after a gap of two years , Patnaik asked the officials to chalk out all plans and arrangements in advance as this time more devotees will come to Puri to witness the Ratha Yatra.
The Chief Minister thanked the Sevayats for the way they cooperate in conducting the Ratha Yatra during Covid and pulled the Rathas themselves to the Gundicha Temple.
At the meeting Law Minister Jaganath Sarada, Development Commissioner P K Jena , DGP Sunil Kumar Bansal briefed about the steps taken for the preparation for the conduct of the Ratha Yatra and about maintenance of law and order during the festival.
Sri Jaganath temple Chief Administrator B B Yadav and RDC (Centrl Range ) also participated in the meeting.
Several Ministers and senior officers of the state Administration and the members of Chhatisa Niyog were present.
