Bhubaneswar: A business partner of lady blackmailer Archana Nag has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The accused Khageswar Patra was involved with many illegal monetary transactions with Archana since 2017.
Notably, Archana faces allegations of extorting money from rich and influential people in the state. The ED had registered a case against her and verified her bank statements.
She and her husband Jagabandhu Chand allegedly amassed assets worth Rs 30 crore within four years by blackmailing influential people. They had been arrested by Khandagiri Police on charges of extortion.
