Pending any official confirmation as yet, the social media is abuzz with rumours that, the Chinese President Xi Jinping has been put house arrest as a coup has been affected to overthrow Xi by the Chinese Military.

The development, it was said that, is taking place a week after two of its former Ministers were sentenced for corruption, which is stated to be the highly controversial decision in the nation’s history.

Going by the social media reports, an unprecedented movement by the military is seen as huge military vehicle movements have been noticed, according to some social media posts.

The movements of vehicles were seen heading towards the residence Xi Jinping and some videos of such movements were posted in social media by some users. However, there is no official confirmation on this development as yet.

Weighing the seriousness of the developments, some social media posts say that, over this over 9000 domestic flights have been cancelled in China without citing any specific reason.

Some posts even read that, the military chief Gen Li Qiaoming is all set to become the next president of China.

Another social media user, Steve Smith said that, something is happening in China and about 6000 flights have been cancelled.
