Vietnam-era Helicopter Crash In US Kills 6

Washington, June 23: At least six people were killed after a Vietnam-era helicopter crashed onto a highway in West Virginia state.

The New York Times quoted Sonya Porter, the deputy director of the Logan County Office of Emergency Management, as saying that the helicopter came down on Wednesday evening near Blair Mountain, which is the mountainous area in the southern part of the state is known as Kelly Hollow. 

The reason for the crash remains unknown.

“At the time the crash occurred, I think the weather was clear,” she said.
The helicopter was being flown during a reunion for enthusiasts of the aircraft that had been used during the Vietnam War.
