Odisha govt creates 2,000 posts for doctors

Bhubaneswar, Nov 20 : Odisha government has created 2,000 posts of doctors for the peripheral health institutions of the state to provide adequate health service to the people of the state.

An order issued by the state Health and Family Welfare department said the sanction of the Governor for the creation of 2,000 posts of Leave Training Reserve Medical Officers (LTRMO)in the rank of Group A (Junior Branch) of Odisha Medical and Health Services cadre has been obtained.

According to the order, 1500 LTRMOs will be hired for each of the 30 District Head Quarter Hospitals, 20 doctors for the Rourkela Government Hospitals, and 480 doctors for each of the 32 Sub Divisional Hospitals.

The sub-divisional hospitals where the doctors will be appointed are— Athamallik, Pallahara, Talcher, Nilgiri, Patnagarha, Titilagarha, Padmapur, Athagarha, Banki, Hindol, Kamakhyanagar, Aska, Bhanjanagar, Chhatrapur, Hinjlicut, Dharmagarha, Baliguda, Anandpur, Champa, Pattamundai, Karanjia, Rairangpur, Udala, Chitrakonda, Mathili, Umerkote, Kharar, Gunnupuri, Kuchinda, Rairakhol, Birmaharajpur and Bonai.
