Sambalpur : Twelve students of the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) at Burla in Sambalpur have been rusticated for beating a 3rd Year B. Tech student.
One student of B. Tech 3rd Year and the other of B. Tech 4th Year have been rusticated for two years, while 10 others of B. Tech 4th Year have been rusticated for one year, as decided by the Disciplinary Committee of the varsity on September 24.
All of them are accused of beating a 3rd Year B. Tech student in the Pulaha Hall of Residence of the varsity at around midnight on September 22.
