Jajpur : A man was brutally hacked to death by daughter-in-law at Ranpal village under Panikoili police station of Jajpur district late on Monday night.
The deceased has been identified as Pabana Hati.
According to locals, Woman identified as Rupa Hati after a heated argument with Pabana over some family dispute, attacked him with an axe leading to his death on the spot. Following the incident accused Rupa escaped from the spot.
Panikoili police on being informed by deceased Pabana’s wife, reached the spot, recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem.
The police have started their probe into the matter.
