Anandapur : Husband of Khaliamenta Sarpanch has been arrested on allegation of attacking Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) at Ghasipura block office here on
According to reports, police also seized 2 vehicles from accused, Surendra Bhuyan’s house.
A BJP team also met with Police DG regarding this matter.
Reportedly, the accused approached Ghasipura PEO over a project to demand “favours” and asked him to help in an alleged misappropriation. While the PEO rejected the above-mentioned, the infuriated accused attacked the PEO.
