Modi Govt. Committed to Bring India Back Our Ancient Sculptures: Dharmendra Pradhan

New-Delhi: The Century old ancient and exquisite deity of Maa Annapurna has been handed over to the Up government in a special ceremony at Delhi’s National Gallery of Modern Art by the Ministry of Culture here. This rarest sculpture of Goddess Annapurna has been brought back by PM Narendra Modi from Canada recently.

Attending the ceremonial event Central Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has thanked the Prime minister for this achievement and opined that “Modi government is convicted to bring India back all the stolen priceless ancient glories again. Maa Annapurna’s deity from Canada, is result of such relentless conviction only” he added. This deity will soon be reinstalled in Kashi Bishwanath Temple, Varanasi on November 15 with all religious rituals. 100 years earlier, the idol of Goddess Annapurna, was told to be stolen from a temple of Varanasi and installed at Canada. So the home-coming of the Goddess is possible because of the efforts and cooperation made by honorable PM Modiji and Canada Government.

The Historic and priceless deity will reach at Uttar Pradesh by a four day long ceremonial Car procession from New-Delhi. On 14th of this month the Car of Maa Annapurna will reach at Kashi Bishwanath temple premises and on 15th, the holy installation will be observed. People of Kashi, the city of Lord Mahadev are elated to welcome the Mother Annapurneshwari. In his Tweet the Central Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan has also posted that Modi Government is principally determined to safeguard and proclaim Indian Civilization, Art and culture and also bring back the historic glories from foreign land.
