2021, A Year Of Thrills, Shock, Challenge And Victory For India

Although not so vibrant but not a year which can be tucked to the routine mediocrity of a year ending piece.

It lead us through many twists which made us pass through happenings those brought packages of which some had good notes for many, some better for a few fortunate but for a majority , it was nothing but grinding pains those still linger.

Battle Of Guts In WB

Politically also there were a few vibrant events like that of the elections in West Bengal. It was a rare show of guts as the incumbent chief minister was seen battling hard. In one side, a battery of opponents with high decibel clamors to erase her from the map of Bengal and on the other was Mamata alone, wheeling her chair through the streets.

And the result was a resounding victory for her, signaling the enemies to moderate their diatribes.

Political Opera Punjab

Politics which keeps the media fed with news, did not rest at that. The fracas over supremacy in Punjab it was more or less like a fight between two children that, Captain Amarinder Singh and Navjot Singh Sidhu kept splashing the muds.

In a most amazing climax of happenings, both have virtually lost their wickets. Captain could not keep his CM-ship and Sidhu failed to become the chief minister!

After some hours the year will end for the new-year to enter but the virus and its relatives would hound us for some time to come.

Not to be forgotten easily was one of the most lingering agitation by the farmers who have forced the power that be, at the Center, to genuflect before them.
